Hyskore 7 Gun Pistol Rack Review

Hyskore 7 Gun Pistol Rack Review

I’m going to do little review of the Hyskore www.hyskore.com  Seven Gun Pistol Rack https://hyskore.com/products/30058-7-gun-stackable/.  I got a pretty good deal on it I thought. Thought I’d get it and try because seven guns in that amount of space is pretty darn good. If you got the flat safe shelves and try to put them on there without some kind of rack, it would take up the whole shelf in your gun safe, maybe even two. It depends on how big your firearms are. After opening it, I looked at it, and I had my doubts.

The first thing I did was put this CO2 BB gun in there. I was afraid that the magazine would be heavy enough to just flip them out. This one is marginal here, and then I got this MMP copy of a B.B. gun, and you put it there and it is very unstable. Just the least little bit of tipping and out it comes. Well this is not gonna work. Well I put my little Taurus 709 slim in there, and it’s just got a 7 round mag and a real short barrel, and it’s stable. I mean it would fall out if you shifted it hard. But it’s remarkably stable.

I got a couple of other things. This is a Berretta 92 and I had my suspicions about this one being heavy on the mag area because of the high capacity magazine, but it’s very stable. But then again it’s got a long barrel. Now this is another MMP 45 with a long barrel. This would work but if you had the compact, I don’t know if it would work so I’m going to try it out. This is a 3.8 Springfield. It’s in a 40, so it’s got a full sized mag. Now if your grip has finger grooves or some kind of indentation, if you don’t bounce the rack around they’ll hold it like that. And that position is pretty good. If it slips down to here, and then your balance point changes, even though it’s a full mag, it’s still heavy enough to stay in there. So I’m gonna say that if this were the 45 it probably wouldn’t work. If it had an extended mag it might not work. With the Subcompact, which I would guess is what you’d call this 709, and then a 9 millimeter, it seems to be working OK. If it were in 40 I don’t know.

All said and done, that’s the bad part. The good part is it’s rubber coated, doesn’t take up much space, fits easily on a shelf, and you can put seven pistols in there and clean up your gun rack, leaving room on your lower shelf to lay your mags on there, and then underneath you can put more mags. So all in all I’d say this is a pretty good deal.
