Hyskore Shooting Rests and Gun Storage Product Review

Hyskore Shooting Rests and Gun Storage Product Review

Today where we’re going to be talking about one of my favorite companies of all time, and that is Hyskore. Hyskore www.hyskore.com is an incredible company owned by a gentleman by the name of Ted. He is one of the most innovative guys I’ve ever met and ever talked to on the phone about how the shooting systems and shooting accessories world works. He has created some of the most innovative products. He does his own product videos and test how everything works, and shows you how all the rest and all of his other shooting accessories and storage accessories work. It’s an absolutely incredible company. Most of Hyskore’s products are carried at Midway USA, as well as Cabela’s, and several other places. Midway USA has quite the majority of the Hyskore products so definitely check them out, or you can obviously check out the website at www.hyskore.com.

Now let’s get into a couple of rests that I have in front of me. The one that I’ve got back here is the Hyskore Precision Rest. This is called the Rapid Fire Rest  https://hyskore.com/products/30207-rapid-fire-precision-shooting-rest/. I am so impressed with the size and portability of this rest, but also the precision accuracy of it. You can simply make whatever adjustment you need to, from shrinking the rest down on this rail system that it’s on, or lengthening it out, depending on the size of your firearm. So I have an air pistol that’s a little bit underneath two feet long. Well that’s gonna be perfect for that. If I have a full size gun like this deer rifle I’ve got, the Remington 742 Woods Masters, I can simply enlarge the rest to accommodate it. It’s got a top and a bottom, it’s joined on a rail. This is an incredible shooting accessory. One of the most versatile shooting accessories for going from a pistol to a rifle, and back and forth again. Incredible. This is my top pick for the range right now.

Now for stepping up to some other rests. The Black Gun Rifle Rest, this is one that I’ve used for my SKS when I’ve ever filmed on it, and this typically is built for a pistol grip stock or any kind of a full on, up to like 50 round magazines. So you’re banana magazines or your big long 40 rounder or 50 rounder guns, your AR 15s, your SKS, your AK 47, any of those kind of black rifle guns. That’s what the Black Gun Rifle Rest was built for. It sits higher off of the ground, but it’s a better rest for those kind of guns because it is built for folks using a pistol grip, and for folks that are using high capacity magazines. There’s not another rest on the market that I know of that’s been created like it. I love shooting it. I sent it up to the guys to use up and Tarkana to use for their videos, and I miss it a little bit now.

So another product that I have is the DLX Precision Shooting Rest https://hyskore.com/products/30088-dlx-precision-rest/ . This is built as more of a remote shooting rest. You can certainly turn it around and use just the front forend part of it to shoot for a regular rifle rest, but what is built for is Magnum guns, and especially guns that have a lot of recoil, especially when it comes to a pattern in your turkey gun. You simply strap it down in there, and you pull the trigger remotely, or you can pull the trigger just right over it. You don’t necessarily have to be pulling the trigger remotely, but it has a little remote mechanism that works like a syringe does, which is perfect. I used it to pattern my turkey gun last year and I loved it. It’s an absolutely incredible rest. You don’t have to put your shoulder through the punishment of having to hold the gun. If you want to check if you’re having any accuracy issues with the gun to see if it’s you or the gun, it’s the perfect way to take the human element out. So many times the reason why we have an accuracy problem is us not the gun. It’s a way to kind of separate the wheat from the chaff and see ok am I the problem or is this gun the problem. It’s a perfect rest for that, to be able to shoot completely remotely.

Then you step up to something like this, which is the Bench Beast https://hyskore.com/products/30196-bench-beast-universal-shooting-rest/ . This thing is an incredibly monstrous rest. It is a very heavy, like cast iron style rest almost. It has a mass of bars down here that simply keep it all level and straight, and you have elevation, and wind edge on both ends. Now you can order just the front part, which is this the precision shooting system of the Bench Beast, and you can just simply use that part of it as an actual rest by itself. Just use the front part just for shooting or you can integrate and make the whole Bench Beast Joystick System. There’s a little joystick area that goes here you can shoot remotely. This is perfect for bench rest shooters. It is perfect for people that are shooting competition long range anything like that. I’ve never seen a precision rest like this, and the other products that Hyskore has, but it’s absolutely incredible. Just using this thing, it is so easy to make adjustments, but the adjustments are so fine tuned.

For the price, that’s a thing that I cannot get around, is how Hyskore can afford to provide quality and value like this all in the same package. If you look at rest like any of these, if you look at many of the other retailers out on the market, you’re gonna pay two or three times what one of the Hyskore rest will cost you.

So that’s another thing. Another thing that Hyskore has aside from all of these awesome shooting rests, is shooting storage accessories. Especially if you’re getting into any kind of pistol, storage rifle storage, trying to organize your safe, definitely check out Hyskore’s line of storage products and their other firearms products. There are so many different applications that you can use Hyskore products for, so check out their website www.hyskore.com. This has been absolutely incredible company and I know when you try a Hyskore rest you’re gonna feel the same way.
